As soon as an abstract is accepted, the author will receive an email notification, prompting him/her to proceed with conference registration.

Accepted payment methods are bank transfer or credit card (secure payment gateway). Upon reception of payment, authors will receive confirmation of their registration.

The "fulltime students" registration category is limited to 60 registrations. The acceptance is by order of registration.

ERSCP conference may decide to publish a special issue with one or more of the partner journals. Only full paper submissions that were presented at the Conference by one of the authors may be invited to a special issue. Manuscripts have to be submitted to the special issue of the journal according to instructions provided in the invitation letter. Each manuscript will then be reviewed according to the journal policy.

Authors whose abstracts have been accepted for the conference have the option, and are fully encouraged, to submit a full paper to be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings.

All papers presented at ERSCP 2019 will be published in the 19th ERSCP Proceedings - respectively a Book of Abstract and a Book of Full Papers, both electronic books with ISBN number - which will be available for conference attendants and ERSCP members. The Proceedings, as a whole, will be subject to Copyright © by the Institute for Sustainability Science and Technology of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Nonetheless, individual authors will mainain the right to self-archive and disseminate their own papers, and are also free to seek their publication in scientific journals. When sending the final paper, the author must agree that his/her contribution will be published in the ERSCP Proceedings according to specific conditions detailed above.

Important: Abstracts and Papers will be included in the proceedings only if at least one author has registered and paid the registration fees. One registration (any category) covers maximum two (2) papers.

Conference Cancellation Policy

1. Personal substitution – If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason, she / he may obtaining, previous agreement from the conference organisers, substitute (her/ himself) with another person from the same institute / organization.

2. Cancellation effects – Where the registrant in unable to attend, and is not possible to transfer her/his place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:

• i) more than 60 days before the event: 100% of the registration fees will be refunded less a cancellation fee of 50€, if the cancellation occurred in written form;
• ii) less than 60 but more than 30 days before the event: 50% of the registration fees will be refunded if the cancellation occurred in written form;
• iii) less than 30 days before the event: will not be eligible for a refund at all.

Refunds will be made only via bank transfer to the payee nominated account and all bank charges will be the registrant’s responsibility.

Failed visa applications – Obtaining entry visas is a sole responsibility of participants and failed visa applications are not eligible for refund.
